Travis Owen
Travis Owen, CFA is the Chief Executive Officer of 1 True Health Care Management, where he oversees Sales, Finance, and Business Intelligence. Prior to this he was CEO of Sameday Health where he led the company through a strategic wind-down while overseeing financial planning, accounting, and business intelligence functions. With over a decade of experience in corporate finance and executive leadership, he has a proven track record of managing high-growth operations and delivering financial excellence.
Before becoming CEO, Travis served as Chief Financial Officer at Sameday Health, where he played a critical role in scaling the company’s financial and operational capabilities to serve over 4 million patients during the pandemic across 13 states. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Business Economics from the NYU Stern School of Business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO)
CHARLES “BUDDY”
OWEN, M.D.
Charles “Buddy” Owen, M.D., is the Chief Medical Officer for 1 True Health. Dr. Owen is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Informatics. In addition to more than 35 years of emergency medicine clinical experience, he has co-founded two successful Healthcare Information Technology companies. Dr. Owen has successfully guided the development and deployment of point-of-care solutions supporting more efficient and effective clinical practice.
Dr. Owen’s past successes at the intersection of care and technology inform his work designing products for the Patients, Providers, payers, employers, and researchers who are the customers of 1 True Health. Dr. Owen will oversee the creation of the 1 True Health user experience that gathers, organizes, and presents Patient-specific and population-based health information. Dr. Owen is excited to fulfill the longstanding promise of Healthcare I.T. – to make individual, group, and population care more efficient, more productive, and more engaging.
Patrick Emad
Patrick Emad is the Chief Operating Officer at 1 True Health – Care Management, where he leverages his expertise in scaling healthcare operations to optimize patient care and organizational efficiency. With a proven track record of growing a clinic-based company from 1 to 50 clinics across 15 states and serving several million patients within three years, Patrick has demonstrated a strong capacity for strategic leadership and operational excellence.
Prior to 1 True Health, Patrick held the COO role at Sameday Health, where he led the expansion and operational management of its multi-state clinical network. He has a diverse background with roles in consulting at Deloitte and business development at Fathom Creative, coupled with hands-on experience as an Emergency Medical Technician. Patrick holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Operations Management from the University of Maryland and recently completed the COO Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
